ART Gets to the Trauma Faster. That Matters When Time in Treatment Is Finite.

Accelerated Resolution Therapy is a trauma processing approach that produces significant results in fewer sessions than many traditional methods. Every client at Top of the World Ranch receives ART or EMDR as a standard part of treatment.

Accelerated Resolution Therapy helps clients process trauma efficiently and effectively within the limited time available in treatment. Trauma work begins early because lasting recovery depends on it.

Who This Is For

What Accelerated Resolution Therapy Does

Accelerated Resolution Therapy uses eye movements and voluntary memory replacement techniques to help clients process traumatic memories and replace the involuntary negative images associated with them. ART works quickly and does not require clients to verbally describe their traumatic experiences in detail, which reduces the barrier for clients who are not yet ready for traditional trauma talk therapy.
Clinical research on ART shows significant reductions in PTSD symptoms, depression, anxiety, and phobias, often within one to five sessions. The speed of the approach makes it particularly well-suited to the residential treatment context where therapeutic time is valuable.

How We Treat It

Trauma Therapy Integrated Into Every Treatment Plan

Every client at Top of the World Ranch receives either EMDR or Accelerated Resolution Therapy based on clinical assessment and individual fit. Both are trauma-focused, evidence-supported approaches. The decision between them is made by the clinical team in partnership with the client. Neither is optional.
