The Property
Top of the World Ranch occupies 315 private acres in the rolling hills of Illinois. This is not a converted hotel. It is not a suburban outpatient building with a nature theme. It is open land, real terrain, livestock, trails, and sky in every direction.
Programming takes place in a 13,000 square foot mansion-style facility built to support the full clinical and experiential program. Every client has a private room and a private bathroom. The gym includes a steam room and sauna. The food is prepared with the same level of care that goes into every other part of the program.

Aside from the wonderful rec hall, our well-equipped gymnasium and games room with billiards, shuffleboard, dartboard, and board games may be found in the lodge. The 3-tier theater room is a fantastic attraction for movie nights, which take place on Saturdays and Sundays. A commercial-sized steam room can help detoxify, unwind, and get a good night’s sleep. The massive 12-foot-high atrium has many windows for sunshine and spectacular views of the woods and water in front of the facility. It may also be used as a space to unwind, relax, and read during downtime.
Our rehabilitation center provides completely private and conveniently situated rooms, all a short walk from the Lodge. The house is located on top of a natural ridge with spectacular views from every room. The home has two levels and several client rooms on each level as well as a free laundry room, so you won’t have to pack too much. The rooms are all soundproofed and very pleasant.
Beyond the obvious comforts of having one’s own room, we have found that having some time to oneself after an intense day of interacting with others through our addiction treatment program can be beneficial. It allows the lessons you’ve learned to sink in as you consider how to move forward in your life. There’s a lot more time to think about why you’re here and what your treatment means for you.
There are several areas throughout the estate and lodge where you may relax and take in the majesty of the property and surrounding region. We’ve strategically placed contemplative area chairs throughout our paths network. We’ve got a beautiful creek that runs through the property, as well as many ancient oaks and other hardwoods. Our clients appreciate the peace and beauty of our outdoor activities, as well as the physical, emotional, and spiritual sense of enlightenment that comes with them. It aids in the recovery process. Top of the World Ranch helps you and gives you the strength to move forward. The sunset may be observed rather than merely documented. The hole in the soul begins to fill, and as a result, it begins to heal.
